I have heard almost all of these. While some of them are more hurtful, the ones I heard long ago that I am now realizing were the most damaging over the long run are the ones about your family not being complete without a girl and that it is so important for a mom to have a daughter and it is worth it to keep trying. Now that I don’t have a daughter and we truly cannot have more children, those sentiments swirl in my mind and make the news of my 5th son so painful when I wish I could just move on.

They’re so adorable – although I’m sure the older ones don’t want to hear that! Lol I love your mom’s of only boys bingo – sadly, I’ve had almost all of those comments said to me by friends and strangers alike! My boys are my blessings! And it’s not the sex that matters, it’s how you raise them! Thanks for putting this together though, because sometimes I think I’m being sensitive, but when you see those comments laid out, they really are hurtful and pretty dumb too! Xoxoxo
