I used about 1 lb of pretzels and 2 lbs of candy melts for @ 43 webs. I also found a bag of plastic spiders at party city rather than using the rings. I just melted the chocolate in ziploc bags in the microwave and then snipped a corner and drizzled the chocolate that way. Also popped in fridge to help set. They were a big hit with the kids and teachers. Easy if a little time consuming to make. I only had a 2 mile trip up to school and most of the webs made it ok but if I had had to travel more or have my son carry them on the bus I think a lot of them would have broken.
