Thankfulness Chain: Thanksgiving Activity

This Thankfulness Chain is a new tradition we are using in our family to help us remember and show appreciation for the things we are thankful for. I love Thanksgiving activities and this one keeps going all month long. Thankfulness Chain I think I am one of the few people who still wait until after Thanksgiving to start decorating for Christmas but I just love Thanksgiving too much to let it get passed over.  Maybe it is because I love Fall so much and have missed it since moving to Nevada or maybe I just like that Thanksgiving gives us a time to think about what we already have and show thankfulness without all the hype that a lot of other holidays have. These Thankful Turkeys are a fun and easy Thanksgiving craft that gets kids thinking about what they have to be thankful for. Thankful Turkeys: Easy Thanksgiving Craft Thanksgiving time is one of my favorite times of year.  As much as I love Christmas, I refuse to skip over Thanksgiving.  It is the one holiday that is solely based on being thankful and that is an important thing I want to teach my children.  Last year we made fun Gratitude Pumpkins to help them focus on being grateful and this year we made these Thankful Turkeys. TogetherBox: Family Fun Without the Work

I had the opportunity to receive a TogetherBox in the mail to review.  All opinions are 100% my own. TogetherBox Do you love doing fun things with your kids but just don’t always have the time to put together the activities?  Or maybe you are like me and live in the middle of nowhere and don’t want to drive 45 mins to get the supplies that you need.  TogetherBox is a monthly subscription service that send family-friendly activities right to your door step and gives you step-by-step instructions so the play can begin immediately.  This is a great service to keep kids entertained over the summer.  My boys were very excited to open up the Spy Kit we received in the mail. TogetherBox […]

Tie-Dye Shirt: So Easy a Kid Could Make It

This easy tie-dye shirt came to the rescue when my oldest informed me two weeks ago that he needed a 70’s costume for his class May Day dances.  I was in a panic. Easy Tie-Dye Shirt Can I say how thankful I am for products that make my life easier.  I live in a small town and I was trying to figure out just how I was going to come up with a 70’s costume in the short amount of time I had before my son’s program.  My friend Carolina from 30 Minute Crafts mentioned that she had a Tulip One-Step Tie Dye Kit I could have and she pretty much saved the day.
