Oh, and we also like books by Andrew Clements. We’ve listened to Frindle, The Landry News, The Janitor’s Boy, Lost and Found, and Extra Credit. His books usually contain life lessons that are great for starting conversations.

I was going to suggest the 39 Clues series also. My 11 year old boy often gets so involved in the story that he doesn’t want to get out of the car. LOL Plus, I like that there is always some history involved. We will usually end up looking up more information about the subject. I have even learned quite a bit from the series.

These are great books! Personally, I’m a huge fan of 39 Clues too for kids as it mixing great adventure with some history. We love talking about them too.
