We love getting crafty on Valentine’s day and my boys are getting pretty good at designing their own Valentine boxes for school.  Here are some of our favorite Valentine Boxes for boys. Valentine Boxes for Boys Every year my boys design a fun Valentine box that is taken to school empty and that returns full of Valentines from their friends. I was told recently that this doesn’t happen anywhere but in the US, and even then a lot of schools don’t allow it.  Boo!  My boys have a lot of fun designing their Valentine boxes and I’m glad that I can provide a little bit of enjoyment and a lot of memory making with my boys while they are little. Here are a few of the Valentine boxes my boys have made: […]

The Ultimate List of Mother and Son Date Ideas

By | November 14th, 2017|Categories: Crafts/Activities, For the Boys, Just for Mom, Parenting|Tags: , , , |

They say “don’t blink”. I don’t know who “they” are, but I’m starting to understand what they are saying. Each day I blink and then my baby starts kindergarten. Or I blink and my oldest is taller than I am. Next time I blink he might be heading out on his first date. And I’ll be stuck at home longing for the days when he was my special date and we went on adventures together. Since we can’t stop time, we can make the most of the time we have. These Mother and Son Date Ideas are the perfect and easy way for moms to build an unbreakable bond with their son.   Mother and Son Date Ideas One thing that I have noticed in raising my 4 boys is that they crave, CRAVE one-on-one attention.  They want to have time with just mom or dad and not the entire family. A Mother and Son date night doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. We have a large family (by today’s standards) and it can be hard to have time for each of my boys individually but these Mother and Son Date Ideas will get your brainstorming process started. By | September 6th, 2017|Categories: Crafts/Activities, For the Boys|Tags: , |

If you have kids, there is a good chance that you have LEGO!  And if you have LEGO, then there is a good chance that you have stepped on those LEGO pieces from time to time.  Save your feet, and your vacuum and make one of these DIY LEGO Tables for kids.  We have two LEGO tables and my boys use them every day.  They are the best things we’ve ever made! 25 DIY LEGO Tables I know as my boys have gotten older, it has becoming increasingly harder to know what to get them for their birthdays and for Christmas.  Also, one of the main questions I get in my Moms of Boys Community is what to buy older boys!  It really is a challenge many people face. If your child is into LEGO tables, these DIY LEGO tables make a great gift.  All you need is a table, some LEGO base plates and some glue. Some of these LEGO tables can be made in just a few short minutes.  I also love that there are some LEGO tables for older kids!  My older boys LOVE their large folding LEGO table. […]
