We were in charge of bringing a treat to my sons preschool party and these little beauties are simple and yummy. I love to bake cookies for my boys but don’t always have the time to them from scratch.
This is a simple way to make yummy cookies using a cake mix. Plus, adding the Peppermint kiss makes them fun and festive.
Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies
1 box chocolate cake mix
1/3-1/2 C oil (I used 1/3 C Canola oil. More oil makes them fluffier but I like to reduce the fat)
2 eggs
Mix all ingredients together until thoroughly mixed.
Roll into small balls and roll balls in sugar.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. While still warm, insert a Candy Cane Hershey’s kiss in the center.
