This post brought to you by K12, the leader in online education. All opinions are 100% mine.
For the past few months I have been working as a substitute teacher for a local online high school that uses the K¹² curriculum. I teach in the science field and I have been so impressed with the amazing resources, both online and at home that are provided to students. I’ve watched Chemistry students do virtual labs and actually had a lot of fun trying out the labs myself. So when I saw that K¹² also has a preschool program, I knew that I needed to share it with my readers.
I know how difficult and how expensive it can be to find a good preschool. I even considered starting my own preschool for my children but found that I just didn’t have the time to put the resources together. The EmbarK¹² family of preschool programs offer a fun and innovative approach to learning that your child will love and that will have them ready to take the next step into Kindergarten.
The EmbarK¹² family of preschools includes EmbarK¹² Online and EmbarK¹² Comprehensive.
EmbarK¹² Online

Children are given 12 units covering Math, Language and Literacy as well as topics from the world around them. Examples of topics include “Travel and Explore,” “Our World,” and “Story Time.”
The cost is $59 for a 12-month subscription but for the next 7 days you can receive a discount of 50% off which makes the cost only $29.50. This makes it only a little over $2/month. To purchase visit EmbarK12 Online and enter promo code EmbarkSpecial at checkout.
EmbarK¹² Comprehensive
EmbarK12 Comprehensive- Online and hands-on preschool program for your early learner.
EmbarK¹² Comprehensive is K¹² ‘s award-winning Pre-K program designed to fully prepare children ages 3-5 for Kindergarten. Your child will have fun while engaging in over 1,200 interactive, age-appropriate online and hands-on activities.
These engaging activities are designed to fully prepare your child for Kindergarten with skills including mathematical reasoning, basic literacy, scientific observation, investigative skills, and much more.
EmbarK¹² Comprehensive includes 18 thematic units covering 6 subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Music, and Art. Examples of themes include: Family and Friends, My Five Senses, and Looking at Animals. I love that the materials shipped to the students include 19 books of classic children’s literature. Some of my very favorites are included.
EmbarK¹² Comprehensive can be purchased at $286/year for a 12-month subscription and all of the hands-on materials. I have paid as much as $85/month for preschool and know of some preschools that run around $150/month so this is only a fraction of what preschool could cost. To purchase visit EmbarK12 Comprehensive.

I have seen this promo a few places, but the code does not work online. And when I called (3 different reps), they said there was no code running currently. Frustrating! Thanks for sharing though, & please let me know if this gets resolved
Hi Shari! Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. I have a ticket into the company and I am just waiting to hear back. I will update this as soon as I know more. That is frustrating and I want to make sure I’m giving my readers accurate info. I will let you know as soon as I know more. Thanks!
Thanks! I also tweeted Social Spark at the recommendation of another blogger, & they said that they are looking into it as well 🙂
There is a place to put a code if you proceed far enough, but it gives an error about the code not being valid.
Another blogger got it to work when she called so hopefully they’ll fix it 🙂
