Things are heating up around here!! After a relatively cool spring, temperatures are heading for 115° this weekend. Yikes! When it gets that hot, we have two options. We can stay inside being bored or we can get wet! Heading out to the pool is always a better option. Unfortunately we don’t have a large in-ground pool at our house but we love purchasing inflatable kids pools every year for my little guys to play in. This year we set up the Color Wave Pool from H2OGO! and it is the perfect size for my youngest boys. But, even my oldest boys got in on the fun and climbed in the pool!
Color Wave Pool from H2OGO!
It can be really difficult for me to entertain my boys ALL.SUMMER.LONG if we are stuck in the house, but it is just too hot here at times to send my boys out. One thing that I love about the Color Wave Pool is that it has built-in LED lights that make night swimming so much fun! We can head outside once the blazing sun has gone down and enjoy the water without getting fried. The colors change continuously giving the pool a really fun ambiance. My boys would stay out there all night!
My son just celebrated his 8th birthday and requested night swimming to end off his big day. We let him stay up just a bit later than bedtime on a school night so he could get his birthday wish. Now that school is out, I can imagine my boys will be spending several late nights and long summer days outside in the pool.
I love that my oldest boys will still have fun with their younger brothers, even if they are only waist deep in an inflatable kids pool. Brotherly love at its best!
