Stained Glass PaintingToday is the last day of our Summer Day Camp series.  I can’t believe that it is already time for the kids to head back to school.  I know a lot of you have already sent the kids out the door but for those who are still looking for some last minute boredom busters, here is a fun idea for Stained Glass Painting from Emily at The Benson Street.

Your kids can mix simple items from your kitchen to give their paintings the look of stained glass.  How fun is that?

To get instructions on making your masterpiece, visit Stained Glass Painting.

Make sure to check out all of the other Summer Day Camp activities and crafts that have been posted over the summer.   Now if the temperature around here would just drop below 110° I might be able to get ready for fall, my favorite time of year.

Have you sent your kids back to school yet?  We’re heading back in a few days and I can’t wait to get back to a regular routine, even if it does come with all of the running around and craziness of the school year.

Be checking back for a lot of fun things that are coming up here at The Joys of Boys! And as always,  thanks for reading!
