Angry Birds Birthday Party Games
I shared our Angry Birds birthday party food ideas yesterday but when you know you have 15 six-year olds coming to a party you make sure to have lots of Angry Birds birthday party games. And what Angry Birds party could be complete without a life-size Angry Bird game?
My husband painted dodge balls to look like birds and bouncy balls for the pigs.
And he made an awesome Angry Birds slingshot to use to shoot the balls at the pigs. Tutorial still to come.
We had all of the neighbors save their cardboard boxes for us to use. It was a bit windy so we couldn’t make it as big as we wanted since it kept blowing down. But the boys had a lot of fun knocking down and building back up this Angry Birds game.
A couple of other “pigs” showed up.
We also played:
Angry birds bowling:
I used large food storage cans and a pig printable to make the tower.
Pin the Beak on the Angry bird,
Angry Birds bean bag toss,
We printed the angry bird faces onto iron-on transfer paper
and then ironed them onto felt.
Just so you know, it took a lot of elbow grease to get these faces to stay on but they turned out cute. I love using felt because it won’t fray on the edges. Then we just sewed a simple stitch around the edges leaving enough room to fill with dry beans before finishing the stitch.
and had an Angry Birds Pinata
!
I’m bummed that I didn’t get any pictures of the boys hitting the pinata. Too many things going on at once.
We finished the party off with snow cones we made with our snow cone maker and homemade snow cone syrup
and presents from friends.
Happy Birthday big boy!!

and cake ideas.

Your ideas for this party are so clever! Now how do I get my husband to make that giant angry bird slingshot? Can’t wait to see the next party you throw.
I’m glad you like it! The slingshot tutorial is coming soon. Can he be bribed? 🙂
Hi!
Love your Angry Birds party! We are doing a giant angry birds activity for a Church holiday programme soon, and we were just wondering what type of paint you used on the dodge balls?
Thanks
