The weekend is here! I am so ready for a break from the run-around. We made up these yummy mini-cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning for fun Friday. So super easy and fun for the boys. A perfect way to start off the weekend.
- 2 Tbls packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 Tbls melted butter
- 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 1 Tbls milk
1-Preheat oven to 375° F. Generously grease baking sheet. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix well
2-Unroll dough and separate into 2 (12X4 inch) rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal. Brush dough with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Roll up each rectangle tightly starting from the long side. Cut each roll into 12 (1 inch) slices with a serrated knife and place slices, cut sides up, on baking sheet.
3-Bake about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. remove to wire rack to cool. Mix powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth and drizzle glaze over cinnamon buns.

I also found out that today is “Greenie’s” birthday. I don’t remember where this dog came from, and have no idea why he is named Greenie when he is blue, but you can tell by the looks of him that he is a VERY loved doggie! So Happy Birthday to Greenie!
Do your kids have stuffed animal “friends” like my boys? I would get rid of half of our stuffed animals if I could but they all have names and are played with almost daily. You can’t just get rid of “family” now can you?
