How to Make a TMNT Mask
Step 1: Tape/glue a piece of crepe paper across the front of the plate, leaving an overhang on one side of the plate.
Step 2: Fold the excess crepe paper down and cut the end into a “V” shape.
Step 3: If using glue, let the glue dry and then use a pencil to trace the shape of the eyes onto the front of the plate.
Step 4: Cut out the eyes using your craft knife.
Step 5: Draw a mouth
Step 6: Punch one hole in each of the sides of the plate and tie yarn to each hole.
Step 7: Tie the mask onto one of your kids and watch them turn into a Ninja. 😀
I had a “Ninja” face drawn on the mask at first but I was quickly corrected by my 6-year-old that Michelangelo, the Orange Ninja turtle, is always happy so we had to redo the mouth to a smile. But you could do any type of mouth to change the expression on their face. I just love my little ninja!
