How to make Turkey Cookies
For anyone looking for a simple activity for the kids while you bake your Thanksgiving dinner, or if you need a little something to add to your table decorations, these turkey cookies are perfect.
All of my boys got involved in making these turkey cookies, even baby as you can see his hand there on the right. 🙂 Of course he wouldn’t want to miss out on the action.
I got this idea from the Circle of Moms website and modified it just a bit.
Items you need:
- Double-stuffed Golden Oreos
- Mini Nutter butters
- Candy Corn
- Mini chocolate chips
- Frosting
Step 1- Carefully stick candy corn into the Oreos for feathers. Make sure you are careful or the cookies will break.
Step 2-Place a dab of frosting on the Nutter Butter and stick it to the Oreo for the turkey head.
Step 3-Use frosting to attach the beak and two chocolate chips for eyes.
Step 4- Eat and enjoy! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with laughter, love and lots of food!! See you next week!
