Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite parts about Christmas: Cookies! And, not just any cookies, but easy Snowman Cookies. I can’t imagine having Christmas without making sugar cookies and these easy Snowman Cookies were adorable and delicious!
Easy Snowman Cookies
For as long as I remember, making sugar cookies has been a Christmas tradition in my family. My grandma makes the best Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies and it is the only type of sugar cookie that I like. It is so easy to take a regular sugar cookie and make it into something fun for your kids. My boys had a lot of fun helping me decorate these Snowman Cookies.
How to Make Snowman Cookies
First you will need to make up a batch of your favorite sugar cookie dough. Like I said above, my favorite and only choice for sugar cookies is my grandma’s Old Fashioned Sugar cookie recipe.
Roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter to cut into circles.
Bake according to your recipe instructions and let cool completely.

Supplies needed to make Easy Snowman Cookies:

- White sugar sprinkles
- Orange and Brown chocolate chips. I had mine from Halloween. You could also orange M&Ms or other orange candy.
- LifeSaver gummies
- Twizzler Pull N’ Peel
- Circle Cookie Cutter

To make Snowman Cookies, frost the cookies and add sugar sprinkles to give the look of snow. Then add chocolate chips for the eyes, mouth and nose. Add two Gummi Lifesavers and a string of Pull N Peel Twizzler for earmuffs and you are finished just like that. My boys had fun helping in the kitchen, even if they only wanted to eat the extra LifeSavers.

Kara, this is so much fun! My little ones would love it. Thank you for sharing. I am meeting quite a few “new to me” bloggers through Camille’s advent. Glad to meet you!

Hi Kara, I also absolutely love these! My boys will devour these! How creative! What is your email address? I don’t use Facebook, twitter, or other social media – I’m a bit of a technology dinosaur. If you’re interested, I can send you a list of gingerbread man books with recipe. My boys have been reading different versions and will bake their own – they love it! Except my 3 year old is a little afraid they’ll come to life! Lol – he’ll probably worry that the snowman cookies will melt!
