Halloween is basically here and today we celebrate with our school class parties. I made this Easy Mummy Halloween Treat for one of my boys’ classes and they were super simple!
Easy Mummy Halloween Treat
If you haven’t noticed, I kind of have a thing for creating fun food for my boys. And Halloween is one of the best celebrations for it because there are so many fun options to make. I made Eyeball Donuts for my oldest son’s birthday and last year we celebrated Halloween with Mummy Pizza and Frankenstein Pancakes. So when I was asked to bring a treat for my son’s class party, I knew just what to do and this Easy Mummy Treat was created.
Supplies needed for Easy Mummy Halloween Treat:
- Twinkies or other Sponge Cake with cream filling
- White Chocolate or Vanilla Almond Bark (I’m a white chocolate fan so that is what we used)
- Chocolate chips
- Sucker Sticks (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Melt the chocolate or almond bark according to the package. I like to microwave mine for 1 minute and then stir. Then microwave by 20 or 30 second increments until smooth. Do NOT over heat the chocolate because it will scorch and you won’t be able to use it.
Step 2:Dip the Twinkies into the white chocolate and cover completely in chocolate Remove from the chocolate with a spoon and let the excess chocolate drip off.
Step 3: Place Twinkie on wax paper or aluminum foil
Step 4: Let the chocolate harden and then fill a spoon with white chocolate and drizzle the chocolate across the top of the Twinkie to give the look of bandages.
Step 5: Add two chocolate chips for the eyes.
Step 6: If you want, you can stick a sucker stick into the bottom of the Mummy and make a Mummy-pop. We had a lot of fun making these Easy Mummy Halloween treats and we hope my son’s class had a lot of fun eating them. I hear they were a big hit!

Ah..thanks Isra. Definitely a sugar high for sure but that’s what Halloween is all about right? 🙂
I love these ideas, we do Halloween food every year and I’ve been drawing a blank. I’m up early enough that I can make the Frankenstein pancakes 🙂
The Frankenstein Pancakes were definitely one of my boys’ favorites. I hope your kids loved them!
These are cute too. Thanks for sharing.
