I am SO excited to be hosting a new series for the summer called Summer Survival for Moms of Boys.
Summer Survival for Moms of Boys
Below you will find posts from some of my favorite bloggers that will make your summer loads of fun and will help you to break up the routine with fun activities, science experiments, crafts, fun food ideas and more.
I have 4 boys and I know how hard it is to get them interested in activities that don’t involve electronics and after the first few weeks of having them home, it is really easy to run out of ideas for entertainment. Also, it is already an oven outside where we live and with the temperatures rising each day I personally have to have plenty of activities on hand that we can do inside to stay busy or outside to cool off.
I think I’m more excited about this series and the amazing ideas that are found here than anyone. And while these posts will be geared towards moms of boys, of course girls can enjoy them too. I just have 4 boys so “boy” is all I know.
You can take each category and focus on just that for an entire week this summer or mix and match the ideas to create your own ultimate summer. Have fun and stay cool!

Looks like a whole treasure trove of fun to be had, I’m off to explore and see what ideas we can use for our kids.
Thank you so much for sharing your series at our Summer Family Fun party!
With 4 boys and a girl in my crew, I’m always looking for ways to keep the boys out of trouble, ahem, occupied. 🙂
You should write a book! Your blog is wonderful and reminds me so much of summer days with my boys. I was always stretching to find fun but inexpensive things to do…outside. 🙂
Happy Thoughts of Home. 🙂
You are so sweet! I am always thinking about writing a book, but also trying to find the time with my 4 busy boys. lol!
