The Ultimate List of Mother and Son Date Ideas

They say “don’t blink”. I don’t know who “they” are, but I’m starting to understand what they are saying. Each day I blink and then my baby starts kindergarten. Or I blink and my oldest is taller than I am. Next time I blink he might be heading out on his first date. And I’ll be stuck at home longing for the days when he was my special date and we went on adventures together. Since we can’t stop time, we can make the most of the time we have. These Mother and Son Date Ideas are the perfect and easy way for moms to build an unbreakable bond with their son.   Mother and Son Date Ideas One thing that I have noticed in raising my 4 boys is that they crave, CRAVE one-on-one attention.  They want to have time with just mom or dad and not the entire family. A Mother and Son date night doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. We have a large family (by today’s standards) and it can be hard to have time for each of my boys individually but these Mother and Son Date Ideas will get your brainstorming process started. Star Wars Snowflakes

Every year our family loves to make snowflakes together. We are always on the look out for some snowflakes that are better than the average snowflakes we would normally make.  These Star Wars snowflakes are seriously the best thing ever! My boys love Star Wars Crafts and Star Wars inspired recipes, so we were excited to find these.  What was supposed to be about 10-20 minutes of making paper snowflakes turned into an hour or more of Star Wars snowflakes.  I finally had to  call it a night on this project because we could have gone all night and someone has to enforce bed time around here.  I know, I hate to always be the bad guy that ruins all the fun. Eye-Spy Nature Scavenger Hunt

This Eye-Spy Nature Scavenger Hunt will add some excitement to your next family hike or camping trip. Nature Scavenger Hunt There is really nothing better, in my opinion, than being high up in the mountains surrounded by nature and the beauties of the earth.  When we visit family in Utah, we try to take advantage of the mountains as much as we can. My boys are used to heat, dirt and tumbleweeds, while cool summer evenings, pine trees and quaking aspen are foreign to them.  So it is no surprise that they want to go hiking in the mountains as often as we can.  I put together a fun Eye-Spy Nature Scavenger Hunt for them to add some excitement to our hikes and camping trips.
